Anna Ukhanova is one of the senior research leads in Google Research in EMEA, focusing on a wide array of ML and AI related topics, including Responsible AI. She has been working with Google since 2014. Anna received a M.Sc. in Information and Communication Systems from St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation in Russia, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). She is a grantee of the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation for research work in the field of visual perception. Her career journey has brought her from St. Petersburg to Munich, Copenhagen, Padua, London and Zurich. She enjoys traveling, getting to know different cultures and learning foreign languages.
