Danuše Nerudová is an economist and the rector of Mendel University in Brno. In her scientific work she has specialized in the issue of European taxes, she regularly gives lectures abroad. Her priorities also include improving the quality of education, especially in terms of critical thinking and creative problem solving. She is the chairwoman of the Committee for Fair Pensions and she as well actively speaks about economic issues that are currently resonating in the society. She is an advocate of equal opportunities for women in the labour market and, according to Forbes magazine, is one of the 125 most influential women in the Czech Republic.
