From 2010 to 2014, David Sláma worked as a representative of the statutory city of České Budějovice, and he also held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Transport Company of the City of České Budějovice. In addition, he worked in a marketing agency, where he dealt with the issue of tourism at the regional level. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked in the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic in a position dealing with the financing of municipalities and transport. At the same time, David worked as an assistant to a member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Since 2015, he has been working as the director of the Department of Strategic Development and Coordination of Public Administration at the Ministry of the Interior. Simultaneously, he works as the chairman of the Audit Committee at NAKIT, s.p. and externally engages in pedagogical activities at the University of AMBIS, a.s. and at the Institute of Public Administration in Prague.
